Australian Dance Party strives to make urgent work that reflects on the human condition and our connection to the world in which we live. Our future OnSite works will continue to explore urgent social, ecological, and political themes promoting the wellbeing of human nature and nature-nature.

Creative Partnerships Australia through the Plus1 program is matching donations made to Australian Dance Party up to $25,000! 𝘼𝙡𝙡 𝙙𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚 31𝙨𝙩 𝙈𝙖𝙮 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙜𝙤 𝙩𝙤𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙨 𝘼𝘿𝙋’𝙨 𝙊𝙣𝙎𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢.

Today is one of our favourite days of the year, 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝘿𝙖𝙮! A day dedicated to celebrating the art form we all love.
We couldn't agree more with the Dance Day Message by dancer and choreographer Yang Liping "Dance—A Way to Communicate with the World". For us dance is the way we communicate and inspire thinking, feeling and action in today’s world. Our bodies can sometimes say so much more than our words.

Get to know the 𝒽𝒾𝓁𝓁𝓈𝒸𝒶𝓅ℯ: Composer @dan_c_walker
Dan is an active arranger and regularly produces work for the @sydneysymphonyorchestra, Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, the @australianchamberorchestra and record label @abc.classics. His work for television includes the iconic 2009 I Still Call Australia Home advertising campaign for @qantas.
As a performer, Dan is a member of Canberra vocal ensemble @luminescencesingers, and regularly sings with @pinchgutopera. He is a keenly sought-after conductor, having appeared as chorus-master for Cantillation, the @sydneysymphonyorchestra and @melbournesymphonyorchestra. He is currently Music Director of The @canberrachoralsociety, The @orianachorale and Canberra Community Chorale.
