Immerse Labs

What

IMMERSE: contemporary dance labs are series of labs led by a practicing professional contemporary dance artist each with a focus on a particular physical and creative inquiry.

Immerse enables an environment for professional dance artists to explore, test and discover, to connect and network, and to explode new ways of working/moving. The aim is to dig a little deeper into a process or approach over a three week period, working with a consistent group, extending the creative curiosities and physical development of movers and makers in the ACT.
Labs are offered on different days and times to meet both local and visiting professionals differing availability. Often we offer full day labs from 10am-4pm on differing week days and sometimes on Thursday evenings from 7pm-8:30pm.
sessions)The labs are held in the studio or theatre spaces at QL2 DanceĀ  at Gorman Arts Centre.
