IMMERSE: contemporary dance labs are series of labs led by a practicing professional contemporary dance artist each with a focus on a particular physical and creative inquiry.
Immerse enables an environment for professional dance artists to explore, test and discover, to connect and network, and to explode new ways of working/moving. The aim is to dig a little deeper into a process or approach over a three week period, working with a consistent group, extending the creative curiosities and physical development of movers and makers in the ACT.
Immerse is usually delivered in three-week blocks (3 x 90min sessions across three weeks, with the exception of some full day sessions) Thursdays 7pm – 8:30pm in the QL2 Theatre at Gorman Arts Centre. *Participants must commit to the full three week block.
